“Lotería Loca” takes a unique spin on the classic Lotería game. Instead of using numbered balls, the game employs animated cards featuring vibrant, colorful characters. Each player receives their tablero (bingo card) adorned with nine of these captivating cards. Throughout the show, these cards come to life, and some cards appear on both tableros, while others are exclusive to one contestant.
Here’s how the game unfolds:
Players take turns selecting a number from the main game board. Each number reveals a Lotería card with a corresponding dollar value. If the selected card matches one on the player’s tablero, they bank the money. However, if the card doesn’t match, the other contestant can steal the money.
There’s an exciting twist in the form of “loca” cards, which trigger fun and interactive challenges when drawn. Contestants aim to achieve “lotería,” which requires getting three cards in a row, horizontally or vertically. When a player achieves their first “lotería,” they secure their position and bank a bonus of $10,000. The ultimate goal is to be the first to achieve three “loterías” in a row, earning a ticket to the million-dollar round.
