According to Deadline, “The Home” is a horror-thriller, following Max, a young man who takes a job at a retirement home and has to face demons from his past. As Max gets settled into his new position, he starts meeting employees and caretakers who are hiding strange things, and starts exploring the home’s fourth floor, a section that is off-limits.

“The Home” is written and directed by James DeMonaco, who directed the first three “The Purge” films, kickstarting a franchise that has become very successful and profitable. The script will be co-written by Adam Canto and produced by Bill Block, who directed the most recent “Halloween” films.

While Pete Davidson regularly makes headlines due to his dating life, he’s a profitable actor and comedian and someone who’s been consistently working for the past couple of years. Aside from stand-ups, comedy specials and his work in Saturday Night Live, Davidson has acted in a variety of movies, slowly climbing the ranks from secondary parts in comedies like “The Set Up,” to lead characters, like Judd Apatow’s “The King of Staten Island.”

In the upcoming year, Pete is set to star in an exciting roster of films, including the romantic comedy “Meet Cute,” alongside Kaley Cuoco, and more darker and challenging stuff, like the slasher film “Bodies Bodies Bodies,” and “The Things They Carried,” a film following a platoon of soldiers in Vietnam, co-starring Tom Hardy, Bill Skarsgard, and more.
