Sarah Michelle Gellar is sharing a rare and adorable update on her life. The actress shared a post detailing some of what she was up to on the weekend, including spending the day at the racetrack with her son Rocky and her husband, Freddie Prinze Jr.
© KMazurGellar shared the photos on her Instagram. "Race weekend with my boys," she captioned the post, showing numerous photos alongside her 14-year-old son, who looks just like his dad. Rocky is also sporting a buzzcut, a haircut that his dad memorably wore often during the late '90s, increasing the resemblance.
The photos show Gellar smiling alongside her son, who's dressed up for the racetrack. Other images show her alongside Prinze Jr., who smiles next to her for the camera, and more adorable snaps of her son looking focused as he gears up for his race.
Fans couldn't help but note Rocky's similarities to his dad. "Sarah's genes didn't even try," wrote someone.
Gellar and Prinze's family life
Gellar and Prinze have been together for decades, becoming one of the most notable '90s and aughts' couples. The pair met on the set of the film "I Know What You Did Last Summer" in 1997, and have remained together ever since. They got married young, when Gellar was 24 and Prinze was 26.
Earlier this year, the couple celebrated their 24th anniversary. “I always say I'm two people: I’m Sarah Michelle Gellar and I'm Sarah Prinze," said Gellar to PEOPLE. "They're different people.” She quotes that as the recipe for her relationship's success and her family life.

Last year, Prinze Jr. shared the secret to their relationship. “I’m not perfect. She’s not perfect. We piss each other off, but we respect one another,” he told Variety. "We were friends first. Maybe that’s the secret?”
