Brody Jenner slams claims Kendall Jenner is bankrolling Jacob Elordi

Brody Jenner has entered the conversation surrounding Kendall Jenner and Jacob Elordi, and he did not leave much room for interpretation.

The 43-year-old reality star publicly pushed back against a report making claims about his younger half-sister’s relationship with the Australian actor, dismissing the story with one pointed Instagram comment. “I can confirm that this is clickbait,” Brody wrote, according to People, adding a thumbs-down emoji.

His response came after Instagram account The Spill Room shared claims from a Daily Mail report alleging that Kendall’s family had concerns about her relationship with Elordi. The report also alleged that Kendall was paying for expensive trips and other costs associated with the couple’s time together.

Brody Jenner Called the Kendall Jenner Report “Clickbait”

The claims centered largely on money and how Kendall and Elordi reportedly handle the costs of their increasingly jet-setting romance. According to Us Weekly, the original report alleged that Elordi was “not contributing” financially to their trips and outings. Brody responded after the claims were circulated on social media, labeling the story “clickbait.”

Kendall and Elordi themselves have largely avoided publicly defining their relationship.

E! News reported that neither Kendall nor Elordi has directly confirmed or commented on their romance, despite becoming increasingly comfortable being photographed together.

Kendall Jenner and Jacob Elordi Have Been Linked Since Spring 2026

Kendall, 30, and Elordi, 29, have been romantically linked since the spring. The pair drew attention after they were seen interacting around Oscars season before romance speculation intensified around Coachella in April.

A source told People at the time that Kendall and Elordi had been “hanging out and getting to know each other.”

Their relationship appeared increasingly public in the months that followed. The two were spotted together in Hawaii in May and later traveled to Japan. By June, Kendall had joined Elordi in his native Australia, where they were photographed together in Byron Bay.

They also spent time with other celebrity couples during the summer, including Justin and Hailey Bieber.

In August, Kendall and Elordi were photographed holding hands during an outing in London while the actor was promoting Ridley Scott’s The Dog Stars.

The London appearance was one of their clearest displays of affection to date and added to speculation that what may have started casually had developed into a more serious relationship.

What Sources Have Said About Kendall Jenner and Jacob Elordi

While Kendall and Elordi have kept their own comments to a minimum, sources have offered glimpses into their reported dynamic. One source told People that “their energies match,” while another described Elordi as laid-back and said Kendall enjoys spending time with him.

People also reported that Kendall’s family had “welcomed him in,” a notably different picture from claims that her relatives were concerned about the relationship.

In June, People cited a source saying he had not yet been introduced to everyone in the Kardashian-Jenner circle.

What is clear from their public appearances is that Kendall and Elordi have continued spending substantial time together.

Brody’s decision to speak up for Kendall is not unprecedented.

He previously jumped into another conversation involving his family when rumors and commentary focused on Kylie Jenner’s relationship with Timothée Chalamet. Responding to coverage involving someone who claimed a previous connection to Chalamet, Brody wrote, “Oh god just leave the happy couple alone."
