Monica Barbaro knows how to make an entrance. The actress has been making the rounds as she premieres her new and anticipated movie, "Artificial." The project, directed by Luca Guadagnino, stars her and her boyfriend, Andrew Garfield, with the two making their red-carpet debut after two years of dating.
Over the weekend, Barbaro and Garfield walked the red carpet in London at a screening and premiere of "Artificial." Barbaro dressed up for the occasion, wearing a stunning silver midi dress. She paired it with matching open-toed heels, with her hair styled in soft waves.
Garfield wore a suit made up of brown pants, an olive button-up, and a matching jacket. He sported his hair long and completed the look with some glasses.
The two posed together alongside their castmates, including Ike Barinholtz and Yura Borisov, and director Guadagnino, with their arms wrapped around each other.
While Barbaro and Garfield have made numerous appearances together at events like Wimbledon, this marks their first red carpet premiere together.
Barbaro and Garfield's relationship
Barbaro and Garfield began dating around two years ago, shortly after Barbaro's profile blew up after being nominated for her work in "A Complete Unknown." The two have been photographed together holding hands and looking happy on numerous occasions, yet they've never addressed their relationship with the public.
"I have never, and I won’t ever, speak about or confirm or deny anything about my personal life with anyone, ever,” Garfield said in an interview with Esquire.
In September of this year, Garfield gushed about Barbaro's skills as an actress.
“I think Monica is a supremely talented actor,” he said in an interview with Who What Wear. “I think what she did as Joan Baez [in A Complete Unknown]—what she accessed in that project—is nothing short of transformational, extraordinary, and deeply mysterious. I think she is truly incredible. I could wax lyrical more, but I’ll leave it there.”
