Céline Dion is feeling the love in Paris. The 58-year-old superstar appeared visibly moved as she stepped out of the Royal Monceau hotel in the French capital on Wednesday, Sept. 16, just days after making her long-awaited return to the stage.
Dressed in a sophisticated all-black ensemble, Céline was all smiles as she greeted the crowd that had gathered outside her hotel.

Her opening show on Sept. 12 launched a 26-date Paris engagement, with 16 performances scheduled through October and another 10 planned for May 2027.

The milestone has understandably been an emotional one for both Céline and her fans. During opening night, she became emotional shortly after beginning the concert with "On ne change pas," before addressing the crowd about the promise she had made to perform again.
“Finally, it’s amazing we are all together,” she told the audience. “I made a promise to come back and to be back on stage. So here I am, singing for you, singing for me, singing life.”

She had not staged a full concert since 2020, although she memorably returned to the spotlight to perform Édith Piaf's "Hymne à l'amour" from the Eiffel Tower during the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony.
