Jennifer Garner is getting a lot of stuff done. The beloved actress and businesswoman was photographed over the weekend carrying out some errands with her son, Sam. Then she was photographed taking a selfie with a lucky fan.
© x17/The Grosby GroupIn photos shared earlier this week, Garner was spotted with Sam at a golf store, with the two out shopping for some supplies. For the informal outing, Garner wore black sweatpants and a matching sweater, completing the look with pink sneakers. Her hair was loose, and she completed the look with some sunglasses.
Sam, 14, wore an equally laid-back look made up of a white T-shirt, green basketball shorts, and black sneakers. His hair was long and messy, and he was seen carrying some of his recent purchases, including a golf club and some golf balls.
In another photo, Garner was spotted with a fan, who asked for a picture with her. She smiled for the selfie and then reunited with her son, with the two getting inside their car.

Earlier this week, the first trailer for Ben Affleck's new film was released. "Animals," a new Netflix film, follows Affleck as Mark Kimball, a Los Angeles mayor who's life is thrown in a crisis after his son is kidnapped, with his marriage and his life falling apart. In a previous stage of development, the role of Mark was meant to be played by Matt Damon, while the role of Garner was meant to be played by Jennifer Garner.
"I thought, God, Jen Garner would be amazing for this role," said Affleck to Entertainment Weekly. “It also has the added benefit of, like, both of us will see our kids more because we do a week and a week and back and forth. I thought, well, we can coordinate our schedules around it.”
© Warrick Page/NetflixAfter the film faced some delays and Damon had to step out, Garner suggested that her and Affleck playing husband and wife would be too much for them. "We don’t wanna do that. You just get baggage," she said.
Still, Affleck hopes the two will work in the future again. “She’s fabulous, and we’re really good friends, and I’m profoundly grateful to her, and we have a great thing. I still would wanna work with her in the future, but what you don’t wanna do is take the audience’s baggage and have it work against you, you know?” he said.
