Paris Hilton’s 3-year-old son, Phoenix, has a very important question for his mom, and it involves one of the biggest pop stars in the world. In a sweet family video shared by Hilton on Instagram on Monday, Sept. 14, Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum asked his mom when her longtime friend Britney Spears would be coming over.
And judging by Phoenix’s persistence, a visit from “Auntie Britney” cannot come soon enough.

The moment was filmed while Hilton and her children were in New York City for the U.S. Open. Hilton, 45, was walking through a hotel with Phoenix and his 2-year-old sister, London Marilyn Hilton Reum, when her son suddenly brought up Spears. “When is Britney going to come?” Phoenix asked his mom.
Hilton responded, “When’s Britney coming? We’re going to see her in L.A.”
That answer apparently was not specific enough for the 3-year-old, who wanted to know exactly when Spears would be visiting. “When we get back, she wants to come over,” Hilton told him.
The video was recorded before the family headed to the U.S. Open on Sunday, Sept. 13, and Hilton uploaded it the following day. A photo of Hilton and Spears also appeared on screen inside a heart as Phoenix asked about his famous family friend.
Britney Spears Has a Sweet Bond With Phoenix and London
Phoenix’s question makes even more sense considering what Hilton has previously revealed about Spears’ relationship with her children. During an August 2024 TalkShopLive appearance, Hilton said Spears regularly visited her family and particularly enjoyed spending time with Phoenix and London. “She loves visiting the babies. She just loves kids so much,” Hilton said at the time.
Hilton also revealed that Spears had visited her home just a few weeks before that interview. Their get-togethers apparently include music and dancing, too.
© GC ImagesAccording to Hilton, Spears danced with Phoenix while listening to songs from Hilton’s album Infinite Icon. Hilton said Spears particularly liked the tracks “Chasin’” and “I’m Free.”
For anyone who remembers Hilton and Spears as two of the defining celebrities of the early 2000s, the image is quite a change from their famous nights out. Their friendship now includes toddlers, playtime and visits at home.
Britney Spears Previously Gushed About Her Bond With Phoenix
There is even more evidence that the affection goes both ways. In December 2025, Spears reunited with Hilton and spent time with Phoenix and London. Afterward, Spears shared an Instagram post praising Hilton as a mother and describing how closely she had bonded with her son.
“My relationship with little Phoenix was quite intense,” Spears wrote, adding that Phoenix allowed her to hold him for an extended period. She also praised Hilton for making her feel comfortable spending so much time with the children.

Phoenix Has Even Called Britney Spears “Auntie Britney”
Spears appears to have earned an especially cute title in the Hilton-Reum household. Around Halloween 2025, Hilton dressed as Spears in the memorable red catsuit from the “Oops!... I Did It Again” era. Phoenix, who was dressed as Buzz Lightyear, appeared alongside his mom in a social media video in which he referred to the singer as “Aunt Britney.”
Hilton wrote in the accompanying post that Phoenix loved his “Auntie Britney,” adding that the family loved and missed Spears.

Hilton shares Phoenix and London with husband Carter Reum. The couple married in November 2021 and welcomed Phoenix via surrogate on Jan. 16, 2023. London arrived via surrogate later that year, in November 2023.

News in January 2026, adding that Phoenix is protective of his younger sister and that London looks up to him.
