Katie Holmes has made her first fashion week appearance. The actress, filmmaker, and style icon made her debut at this year's New York Fashion Week with her boyfriend, Jason Bard Yarmosky. The pair wore complementary cool, and laid-back looks.

The two smiled for the cameras, with their arms around each other.

© Splash News/The Grosby GroupHolmes has had a pretty happy summer. Over the past months, she's been linked to Yarmosky, with the two making various appearances at New York events. Then the couple shared snippets of a trip to Lake Como, with Holmes looking more in love than ever.
In an interview with PEOPLE back in July, a source revealed that the pair looked smitten at a screening of "The Invite" in The Hamptons. “He was whispering in her ear, and she was laughing, they seemed very easy together and there was a smile on her face all night,” they said.
“They sat together during the movie, she had her head on his shoulder at one point.”

“They went on a date shortly after and she finds him interesting,” they said. “Katie has always been drawn to people who are creative. She loves being around people who are passionate about what they do. She enjoys learning and experiencing new things.”
Yarmosky is an artist based in New York and the author of many paintings that have been displayed in museums in the country and abroad. Like Holmes, who's been living in the city for over a decade, he's also involved in the city's artistic circle, making it likely that the two met at one of these events or through common friends.
