Camila Cabello delivered a flirty take on preppy style while attending the Tommy Hilfiger Spring 2027 show during New York Fashion Week on September 10.
The “Havana” singer arrived at Manhattan’s iconic Plaza Hotel wearing a vibrant red cable-knit mini skirt that showed off her legs. She paired the fitted design with a simple white ribbed tank top featuring Tommy Hilfiger’s unmistakable flag logo, creating a fresh contrast against the statement-making skirt.
Camila completed the coordinated look with a matching red knit sweater draped effortlessly over her shoulders. The styling trick added another layer of color while maintaining the outfit’s relaxed, collegiate-inspired mood.
She continued the red-and-white palette with pointed white ankle boots featuring slender stiletto heels. A structured black top-handle bag decorated with an oversized gold-toned monogram brought a polished touch to the playful ensemble, while layered gold chains, a watch and delicate bracelets supplied just the right amount of shine.
Camila’s glamorous beauty look:
The Cuban-born star leaned into soft glamour for the occasion. Her dark hair was styled in voluminous, polished waves that cascaded over her shoulders, with a dramatic side part and face-framing layers adding movement.
Camila highlighted her eyes with warm brown shadow, softly defined lashes and a subtle smoky finish. Rosy blush gave her complexion a sun-kissed glow, while a glossy nude-pink lip completed the romantic beauty look. Her pearly manicure offered a delicate finishing detail without competing with the outfit’s bold color story.
The look perfectly reflected the fashion house’s youthful reinterpretation of American prep. Hilfiger presented the collection, titled “Plaza Prep,” as part of his return to the official New York Fashion Week calendar. The Spring 2027 designs revisited the brand’s familiar red, white and navy palette through contemporary proportions and playful styling.
Camila was among the famous faces seated in the front row alongside Kate Moss, Jisoo, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Victoria Monét and several New York basketball stars. Gigi Hadid opened the runway show, which also featured an energetic live performance from Slayyyter.
The Plaza held special meaning for the designer, who previously lived in a penthouse at the legendary hotel with his wife, Dee, for more than a decade. For the presentation, its elegant lobby and Palm Court became the backdrop for Hilfiger’s latest celebration of classic American style.
