Kylie Jenner is no stranger to pregnancy rumors, and she's opening up about how she feels about the constant speculation about what may or may not be inside her uterus.
During a Wednesday appearance on her best friend Anastasia “Stassie” Karanikolaou’s Better Half podcast, Jenner opened up about how she handles all the rumors about her personal life, including the latest mill that she is expecting another baby.
The conversation came up while Jenner and Karanikolaou were discussing the internet’s tendency to create its own narratives about their relationships. Karanikolaou pointed out that people often assume something is wrong whenever the two aren’t seen together, prompting Jenner to explain that she's gotten used to people making assumptions about her life.
“I think that I’m so used to people creating their own narrative that I actually have to just laugh about it and I really don’t care,” Jenner said. She then brought up the pregnancy speculation herself. “People think I’m pregnant right now."
She went on to explain why she doesn't feel the need to respond to every rumor that makes its way around online. “I’m not going to address everything cuz it’s like I’m going to be in a bikini somewhere or I’m going to be out and the rumors will be squashed,” she said.
The latest speculation is hardly new territory for Jenner. Pregnancy rumors have followed the Kylie Cosmetics founder for more than a decade, dating back to when she was still a teenager.
In 2015, when she was 17, Jenner pushed back against reports that she was expecting her first child with then-boyfriend Tyga. A year later, Keeping Up With the Kardashians even had a deleted scene where the then-18-year-old Jenner asked Kim and Kourtney Kardashian on the phone, "Why is everyone saying that I'm pregnant?"
The rumors have continued throughout different chapters of her life, including after she became a mother. In 2024, speculation that she was expecting a child with Timothée Chalamet spread online after comedian Daniel Tosh said he talked to a grocery store employee who told them they rented out the store so they could film a supposed pregnancy reveal. Sources later shut down speculation with multiple outlets. Jenner was
After first dealing with the rumors, Jenner appears to have a much more relaxed attitude toward it. “I just assume people will figure it out eventually, which is what they always do,” she said on the podcast.
Karanikolaou admitted she had also seen the latest rumors, while Jenner made it clear that she isn't interested in constantly correcting the internet. “I kind of just don’t feel the need to say anything ever,” Jenner said. “I’m just like, well, it is what it is.”
For Jenner, the pregnancy rumor is just another example of the speculation she has learned to laugh off rather than address. “It’s like a new thing every other…” she said, before acknowledging that she can't realistically respond to everything said about her.
“You can’t like ... comment on everything,” Jenner said. “So I just laugh about it. And join in on the party.”
Jenner is already a mother of two, sharing daughter Stormi and son Aire with ex Travis Scott. While she may want more children in the future, right now, she isn't looking to add another baby to her family.
During a recent FaceTime appearance on The Girls with her friend Yris Palmer, Jenner opened up about the idea of another pregnancy after Palmer revealed she was considering having another baby via surrogate.
“Trust me, the thought of carrying another baby right now feels insane,” Jenner said. The mom of two was also asked whether she would consider surrogacy herself. While Jenner didn't completely rule it out, she made it clear that she doesn't see it as something she would likely pursue.
“I don't want to say no, but I'm like 99.9% sure I couldn't do that,” she said, explaining that she has “big healthy babies” and therefore doesn't feel there is a reason for her to use a surrogate.
