As Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding festivities shift into full gear, it's all eyes on New York. One couple we know who was on their way this afternoon was Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper.
The couple was spotted leaving their house together, with Hadid turning heads in a soft pink gown. Several reports have pointed to Hadid having a bigger role, with many expecting her to stand beside Swift as a bridesmaid.
Cooper being by her side comes as no surprise. The notoriously private couple has been going strong since October 2023.
The two have been close for years, weathering career highs, heartbreaks, and intensely public scrutiny side by side. Swift was even spotted arriving at Hadid's house on July 1st, the day before her rehearsal dinner, so they spent some of her last moments before the chaos together.
Hadid has spoken openly about how much she admires Swift, not just as a friend but as an artist whose songwriting has helped soundtrack major chapters of her life.
Back in 2019, Hadid reflected on their bond, explaining, “An amazing thing about my friendship with Taylor has been that she is a songwriter that I’ve connected to through my childhood into my adult life.”
She added that becoming close with Swift gave her a rare window into the mind behind the music, saying Taylor has a gift for putting feelings into words that so many people experience but struggle to articulate.
The wedding of the century
By Friday afternoon, the scene outside Madison Square Garden was starting to feel less like a wedding and more like an awards show arrival line. Among those spotted heading to the affair were Dakota Johnson, Abigail Anderson, Benson Boone, Machine Gun Kelly, sports broadcaster Charissa Thompson, and several members of Kelce’s NFL circle.
The scale of the celebration is as over-the-top as fans expected. The evening reportedly begins with a cocktail hour before a ceremony on the arena floor, followed by a reception stretching late into the night, per Page Six. There is also reportedly a strict no-phone policy.
Parts of the venue were reportedly transformed into a forest-like setting, complete with trees and grass-inspired carpeting.
As for the rehearsal dinner, the couple hosted a more intimate pre-wedding celebration for about 100 of their closest loved ones, with attendees including Selena Gomez, who is also reportedly a bridesmaid, along with Hadid, Cooper, Lena Dunham, and Jack Antonoff.
All of it comes amid speculation that Swift and Kelce may have already legally tied the knot in private, choosing to save the massive public-facing celebration for friends and family.
Neither camp has confirmed that rumor.
