Lindsay Lohan is giving fans another glimpse into family life in Dubai after sharing a series of intimate family photos on Instagram.
The 39-year-old actress and financier Bader Shammas left Los Angeles to start their new chapter in Dubai in 2022, a year before they welcomed their two-year-old son, Luai, into the world.
Since then, the family has largely kept their private life out of the spotlight, making Lindsay's latest photo carousel a rare look at life at home. Among the images was a heartfelt tribute she shared in honor of Bader's 40th birthday.

The post was captioned, "Happy Birthday to my favorite person. You’re an incredible husband, the most loving father, and the kind of friend everyone hopes to have in their life. The way you love and care for our family, and the joy you bring to Luai every day, means more than words can ever say."
She continued, "Thank you for the life we’ve built together, for your strength, your loyalty, and for always believing in our future. Luai and I are so lucky to have you. I love you endlessly. Happy Birthday."
Sweet family moments
The Freaky Friday icon kicked off the slideshow with a selfie of her leaning on handsome Bader's shoulder as he gave a wide smile.
Next, Luai looked interested in his surroundings as the tot, held up by his dad, looked through coin-operated binoculars at a beach.
A shot of Lindsay and Bader - who met in 2020, got engaged in 2021, and wed in 2022 - getting cozy outside as they enjoyed couples time followed, before a glammed-up snap of the pair popped up on screen. The Parent Trap alum then included some pictures of Bader playing with Luai.
One of the tot dressed in a Spider-Man costume as the Credit Suisse Assistant Vice President held up a stuffed bald eagle toy. A cute video then played of Bader and Luai riding push cars through their luxurious home.
An image of the little one and his dad playing in a swimming pool, and them exploring a city during a family trip, capped off the sweet family time moments of the slideshow. A clip of Bader's yellow and blue "Happy Birthday" balloons was also included.
Lindsay feels "safe" in Dubai compared to Los Angeles
Although the family of three still spends time in New York and Los Angeles, Dubai has become the place Lindsay considers home. Despite Lindsay liking the amount of open space in the City of Angels, the star feels stressed there when with Luai because she is paranoid that paparazzi are following her.
She also told ELLE magazine: "It’s hard in Los Angeles. Even taking my son to the park in Los Angeles, I get stressed. I’m like, 'Are there cameras?' In New York, there’s no worry; no one bothers us. Everyone has their own thing going on. There’s a different kind of energy in New York. I’d rather have downtime in New York than I would in Los Angeles."
Ultimately, she said she doesn't have to worry in Dubai, adding that it offers the best balance of privacy, peace, and space.
A quieter life away from Hollywood
Lindsay has previously explained that living in Dubai allows her family to enjoy a much more normal life away from Hollywood. Speaking on an episode of Live with Kelly and Mark last year, the Fully Loaded star shared,"It’s just far away from Hollywood, and I live a very normal life.
"There’s no worry of like, I can’t go eat at this place ’cause someone’s gonna take a picture of my son. And it’s just ... I feel very safe."You can’t take a picture of someone else if you’re in a restaurant. You have to ask the person, which is a big difference from here."
