Celebrities are using their platforms to support the victims of the devastating earthquake in Venezuela. Over the past couple of days, "Superman's" María Gabriela de Faría, Christian McGaffney, and Nicki Jam have shared posts calling attention to the situation in Venezuela, sharing what resources they've been using to support the country.

Nicky Jam had one of the most impressive donations, revealing that he used his personal plane to deliver supplies to Venezuela. In an Instagram post, Nicky shared photos of himself aboard his plane, with numerous boxes packed with food and supplies visible in the background.

"Today it's not about music, or stages, or applause," he wrote in Spanish. "Today it's about something bigger, about supporting those who need it most. With a lot of love, I'm doing what I can, using my plane to deliver supplies and hope to Venezuela. I invite everyone who can to help to do so. It doesn't matter if it's too much or too little; everything helps. Every act of love can make a difference."

"To the people of Venezuela, you're not alone. We're with you. We carry you in our hearts and we'll continue to do everything we can to support you. God bless Venezuela, protect each of their family members and remind us that when we're together, hope always finds a way."

María Gabriela de Faría and Christian McGaffney, two of Venezuela's biggest stars, have spent the past couple of days packing supplies to ship to their home country. The two have been working with Global Empowerment Mission in Doral, Miami, packing supplies with other volunteers and encouraging their followers on social media to join them in volunteering for a couple of hours.

De Faria and McGaffney recorded videos wearing yellow vests. "First, we need all of these donations to make it to Venezuela. We're gonna leave a link in our bio so you can make your donations there," said Faria.

"We're not receiving clothes or anything that's made out of glass. We need 300 people to be here in constant rotation," added McGaffney.

"Come here, this is a long race, not a sprint. We're gonna need help for weeks to come," said Faria. "If you're not in Miami, there's a link where you can still make donations."

The two have continued to share videos throughout the week, encouraging people to continue to show up, send donations, and offer their support as the days pass. They both encourage people to help despite the fact that the news cycle will continue, moving on to other topics.
