A new dream from global superstar Shakira is surprising fans. During a candid conversation on the debut episode of Suite 305 with Lele Pons, the singer revealed that if she ever pursued a different career path, she would love to study medicine.

After decades of dominating the music industry with chart-topping hits, sold-out tours, and countless awards, Shakira shared a more personal side of herself while appearing on the new podcast hosted by Lele Pons. The episode focused on motherhood, perfectionism, life balance, and the pressures that come with being one of the world's most recognizable entertainers.

During the conversation, Shakira also opened up about a surprising ambition that has nothing to do with music: studying medicine. The revelation came as part of an intimate discussion designed to showcase a different side of celebrities.

Why Medicine Appeals to Shakira

While many artists dream of acting, directing, or launching businesses, Shakira's interest in medicine is her lifelong curiosity and passion for learning. The singer has long been known for her intellectual side. Beyond her music career, she has been involved in education initiatives, philanthropy, and humanitarian work through her charitable foundation.

When Lele Pons inquired about any unfulfilled future ambitions, the singer admitted to a long-standing fascination with the medical field. "I love medicine. I'm always diagnosing people," she said with a laugh, explaining that friends and family frequently turn to her for advice whenever they are feeling unwell.

In a heartfelt disclosure, Shakira emphasized her commitment to every facet of her life—as a sister, daughter, mother, artist, and friend. Despite her multifaceted success, she confessed that her deep-seated passion for medicine is a significant ambition she hopes to realize in the future. "I was meant to be a singer. I was meant to be a doctor," the Barranquilla-born star said.
