Tiger Woods is still undergoing treatment overseas as he navigates his own recovery while supporting girlfriend Vanessa Trump following her breast cancer diagnosis.

A golf insider close to the father of two told People that Woods, 50, is expected to remain in Switzerland through the end of June as part of his treatment program following the March car crash that resulted in a DUI charge.

"The original plan was for Tiger to do a three month rehab program, which should stay on target unless something major changes," the source told the outlet. According to the insider, the golfer has been dealing with a significant amount of pressure as he works toward recovery.

"Tiger is doing the best he can with all of the pressure on him with healing and also the legal issues he faces in coming months. This has created a great deal of stress," the source continues.

Determined to Return to Golf

Despite the challenges, Woods reportedly hasn't lost sight of his goal of getting back on the golf course.

"I don't know when it will be or how he will do it, but Tiger is determined to return,” the source says. "He has to get his pain management going in the right direction and also be able to continue a fitness routine, which will help him do the best he can when seriously playing golf. This could be tough. But it’s something he wants."

While no timeline has been set, those close to Woods say his commitment to returning to the sport remains strong.

Supporting Vanessa Through Her Health Battle

At the same time, Woods has been leaning on and supporting Vanessa as she deals with her own health challenges.

A second source close to Woods' circle in Jupiter says the couple has remained in constant contact throughout everything they're facing.

“They talk and share their lives as they have been doing for the entire time they have been together,” the source tells People.

“Tiger is a caring family guy and supportive. And so is Vanessa, also a strong woman with a full plate every day of her life,” they add.

Why Woods Returned to Florida

Woods recently traveled back to Jupiter, Florida, from the international treatment facility where he has been recovering. According to a source, the trip allowed him to take care of personal matters after Vanessa revealed on May 20 that she had undergone a "procedure" related to breast cancer earlier that week.

“Tiger took his trip seriously and is all about continuing his recovery and putting this chapter behind him,” a source in Jupiter said on May 17.

The insider also noted that Woods was back home in part to celebrate Vanessa's daughter Kai's high school graduation.

A Difficult Chapter for Both of Them

Woods was arrested on March 27 following a rollover crash and later charged on suspicion of driving under the influence and refusing to submit to a urine test. He pleaded not guilty to both charges on March 31, according to court documents obtained by the outlet.

Another source previously shared that Woods felt it was important to be by Vanessa's side after she publicly disclosed her cancer diagnosis, prompting him to briefly pause treatment and return to Florida.

“He and Vanessa are close and share their lives. He needed to be with her and he was. They do what they can for the other in light of both of them having heavy schedules of responsibility," the source said.

As both continue facing major personal challenges, insiders say they've remained committed to supporting one another.

“Life brings unexpected twists and turns and so far both of them have been there to help the other,” the source added. “They are lucky to have found each other.”
