Kim Kardashian is celebrating another major milestone for her youngest son, Psalm West. The 7-year-old marked his birthday with an elaborate Pokémon-themed party hosted by his mom, Kim Kardashian, who shared photos from the celebration on Instagram in May. The colorful event even featured oversized Poké Ball balloons, trading cards, and even a life-sized Pikachu greeting guests.
The birthday boy leaned fully into the theme, wearing a black Pikachu T-shirt paired with black athletic shorts. Fans may recognize the shirt from the family’s recent Tokyo vacation, where Psalm was also spotted showing off his love for Pokémon.
© Kim KardashianHis siblings joined in on the fun, too. Chicago West, 8, wore a white Pokémon graphic tee featuring fan favorites including Pikachu and Ash Ketchum, while Saint West, 10, opted for a gray graphic T-shirt with light wash jeans.
Although North West, 12, did not appear in the party snapshots, several cousins attended the celebration, including Rob Kardashian’s daughter, Dream Kardashian, 9.
Pokémon is Family Obsession
The Kardashian-West family’s love for Pokémon has become increasingly visible over the past year. Kardashian was previously seen opening Pokémon card packs alongside Saint and Steve Aoki.

Since his birth in 2019, Kardashian has openly spoken about the special role Psalm plays within the family.“They love him. He has helped everyone come together,” Kardashian told People in September 2019. “So now everyone gets along. Everyone loves each other. Everyone is helpful. And everyone loves him. Like, obsessed with him,” she added, referring to her kids.
Kim's Next Chapter
The celebration comes after Kardashian, 45, went sorta Instagram-official with Lewis Hamilton, 41, in a Reel of the two riding in a Ferrari while the Formula 1 champion performed donuts. Insiders reveal that West’s reaction has been unexpectedly positive. “This is a good thing,” a source close to West shared with People. “Kanye isn’t questioning ‘Is Lewis a good person?’ He’s a sweet, smart person, a good person and an incredible athlete.”

The Formula 1 star was even spotted bonding with Saint during a shopping outing. “He feels at peace right now with Lewis being around his kids,” the source explained. “He was trustful about that.
