Elon Musk brought a special guest on his visit to China. Musk was accompanied by his six-year-old son, X Æ A-Xii or Lil X for convenience, as he attended Donald Trump's Chinese summit, which hosted numerous US executives to discuss trade, artificial intelligence, and conflicts in Taiwan and Iran.
In photos captured by various members of the press, Musk is seen holding his six-year-old's hand as the two walk inside the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, China. Musk was wearing a suit and waved towards photographers as he walked flanked by some security members.
His son was holding on to his hand, wearing a grey sweater, a white button-up, black pants, and sneakers. He was carrying a brown over-the-shoulder bag, likely packed with important documents.
Musk and his son were seen attending a high-level business meeting with other US tech executives, including Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple, and Jensen Huang, the CEO of NVIDIA.
Musk is the father of 14 children, including the model Vivian Jenna Wilson. He shares X with his ex-partner, the musician Grimes, born Claire Elise Boucher. They share two other kids: Exa Dark Sideræl, 4, Techno Mechanicus, 3.
Over the past months, Grimes and Musk have publicly argued over X's public exposure, with Grimes sharing that she was unaware her son was going to be in the White House alongside Donald Trump. "He should not be in public like this," wrote Grimes on X. "I did not see this, thank u for alerting me. But I'm glad he was polite. Sigh."

Over the past week, Trump and various US executives traveled to China aboard Air Force One. "The two sides discussed ways to enhance economic cooperation between countries, including expanding market access for American businesses into China and increasing Chinese investment," said the White House on social media.
This marks Musk's most noteworthy appearance alongside Trump after the dramatic fallout of their partnership, which led to Musk's exit from the White House.
Over the past month, Musk has returned to the spotlight due to his ongoing trial against Sam Altman, the cofounder and CEO of OpenAI. In a trial that began three weeks ago, Musk alleges that Altman corrupted OpenAI's nonprofit mission; Musk was one of the company's co-founders and investors, with him departing in 2018 after voicing concerns with the company's direction.
