The well-known King’s Trust marked a particularly meaningful edition, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the charity founded in 1976 by the then Prince of Wales, now King Charles III. The monarch attended alongside Queen Camilla, but they were not the only ones turning heads. Familiar faces like Rod Stewart, Lily Collins, Rita Ora, Benedict Cumberbatch, Idris Elba, and George and Amal Clooney were also in attendance. The lawyer delivered one of the most striking looks of the night, so much so that she even managed to outshine her husband, one of Hollywood’s most sought-after leading men.

The iconic designer would pass away just three years later. The dress hugs her figure perfectly, crafted from a stunning embroidered fabric made up of oval sequin lines and tubular beads arranged in a carefully engineered pattern to enhance the silhouette. It cinches the waist with a corset-like effect and falls straight to the floor, elongating the legs.

Back in 2021, Kate attended the premiere of the James Bond film No Time to Die in a dazzling gown worthy of any Bond girl. Hers was designed by British label Jenny Packham, featuring a more ethereal silhouette and a matching cape.
