Lizzo is stepping into the new year with a bold beauty update — and she made sure fans got a front-row seat to the glow-up.
The 37-year-old singer, born Melissa Viviane Jefferson, revealed a major hair transformation for 2026 in a series of eye-catching before-and-after videos shared on TikTok Friday. In the first clip, Lizzo appeared makeup-free in a black vest, wearing her long dark hair loose. Moments later, she debuted her refreshed look: shorter, lighter curls paired with metallic green eyeshadow, chunky gold hoops and a radiant full-face glam while snuggling her dog.
"2026 is the year of cutting if off ladies," she wrote.
She later pulled back the curtain even further on Instagram, posting behind-the-scenes footage of her stylist shaping the new hairstyle.
The makeover arrived just days after Lizzo proudly displayed her dramatic weight loss in a series of bikini photos, revealing her impressive 60-pound transformation. Beaming with confidence, she modeled a daring white bandeau two-piece that showed off her curves and slimmer silhouette.
She captioned the sultry shots: "My New Year's resolution is to be a B****."
Fans quickly filled the comments with praise, writing: "Your so cute and your body is so beautiful"; "Lizzo got it wit this one"; "The Bigger the Bish... the stronger the boundaries!"
Her latest social media update followed another recent bikini selfie in which she posed with her hands on her hips, appearing makeup-free and letting her natural skin glow. The same post also included a snap of Lizzo in a vibrant blue Pucci romper.
"YITTY & a Pucci fit… nastyyyyy," penned Lizzo in the caption, followed by a flirty tongue-out emoji.
The “Juice” hitmaker has been steadily slimming down over the past few years and recently shared that she has officially reached her goal weight, with insiders estimating she’s lost around 60 pounds.
Only weeks ago, Lizzo addressed cruel body-shaming remarks circulating online, calling out the viral fat joke made at her expense.
Lizzo said: "Today I saw a fat joke about me— in 2025—and it was viral. It was a dumb joke and they were just laughing at me because I’m fat…."
"Let me be a reminder to everyone to NEVER let anyone shame you for what you choose to do with your body," she continued. "Because when you’re big they talk sh**, when you’re small they talk sh**. Your body will never be good enough for them because it’s not FOR them. It’s for you."
"If I get a BBL mind ur business, if lose 100lbs mind ur business, if I gain every pound back and then some… mind ur f***ing business," she concluded.
