Leonardo DiCaprio and Vittoria Ceretti spent some of their weekend with Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez Bezos. The group was spending the weekend in St Barts, aboard the Bezos' superyacht alongside celebrities like Tom Brady.
The pair was photographed anchored off St. Barts, with all photographed enjoying themselves in the sun. DiCaprio and Ceretti were cuddling and dressed comfortably as they wore comfortable clothes for the occasion.
DiCaprio wore blue swim trunks and a white t-shirt, while Ceretti wore white shorts and a black lace top. Both wore sunglasses, with Ceretti styling her hair loose and straight.
She's seen with her arm wrapped around DiCaprio's waist. They were photographed on the boat's deck, laughing alongside their hosts, the Bezos family.
Lauren Sanchez Bezos wore a white sundress that she paired with a straw hat and some sunglasses. She was photographed aboard the yacht as she checked out her phone and chatted with her guests. The group was joined by her son, Nikko Gonzalez, who wore a blue t-shirt and black swim trunks for the occasion.
Why DiCaprio was stranded in the Caribbean
Travel restrictions prompted the delays of many flights in the Caribbean, including that of DiCaprio. He and many other influencers, celebrities and billionaires were present in the region, enjoying different start-of-the-year parties and beach getaways hosted by notorious DJs and others.
DiCaprio was scheduled to appear at the Palm Springs Film Festival on January 3rd. He was being honored with the Desert Palm Achievement Award for "One Battle After Another," the film expected to receive many Oscar nominations in the near future.
The festival issued a statement explaining his absence, sharing that he wouldn't be able to appear due to "unexpected travel disruptions and restricted airspace."
"While we will miss celebrating with him in person, we are honored to recognize his exceptional work and lasting contributions to cinema. His talent and dedication to the craft continue to inspire," continued the statement.
DiCaprio accepted his recognition with a recorded message, advocating for audiences to prioritize the cinematic experience.
“I wish I was there to celebrate with all of you. I’m truly grateful to be a part of it, even from the distance,” he said.
“Movies are still meant to be experienced together, in a theater. Right now, that belief matters more than ever," he said. "Original films are harder to make and harder to protect. But movies still matter — not content, but cinema. Stories made by people meant to be shared in a dark room in a communal experience.”
