Nicole Kidman celebrates first Christmas after ‘stressful’ split from Keith Urban with daughters Sunday Rose and Faith

Nicole Kidman returned home to Sydney this holiday season, and she did it in style. Making a rare public appearance with her daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, the 58-year-old actress let her natural curls shine, harkening back to the signature look that defined her ‘80s and ’90s era.

Photographed heading to a Christmas party, Kidman radiated youthful charm in a pale yellow silk slip dress adorned with lace cap sleeves. She paired the summery ensemble with gold Manolo Blahnik Susa sandals and a raffia Chanel tote bag.

For her beauty look, she rocked a soft pink lipstick and natural makeup, completing the effortless, festive look. “Nicole's doing well. It's been quite the stressful fall, though, and she's looking forward to a Christmas break,” a source told People earlier this month.

“She loves sharing it with her daughters. It will just be a different celebration this year. Nicole and Keith continue to co-parent. The focus is on their daughters. They both want to create a stable and supportive environment for them," the insider added.

The outing marked Kidman’s first holiday gathering in Sydney since announcing her split from husband Keith Urban in September after 19 years of marriage. Despite the recent changes, she appeared relaxed and radiant, spending quality time with her teenage daughters.

Her eldest, Sunday, mirrored her mother’s style sensibility while adding her own twist, wearing a sheer black lace dress with a plunging neckline and flowing skirt embroidered with silver designs.

Faith opted for an age-appropriate yet stylish ensemble, completing the chic family appearance. Kidman’s 2025 has been eventful. Just weeks after filing for divorce, she joined Fashion Month in Paris, supporting her daughters as Sunday Rose walked in the Christian Dior Spring 2026 show.

In November, Kidman shared her first Thanksgiving post-divorce with the girls, keeping the day low-key and centered on family traditions. “There is no drama,” a source told People regarding co-parenting. “Their daughters live with Nicole, but spend as much time with Keith as they want. It’s a new era for the family, and both parents are committed to making it work.”

Court documents from the divorce filing indicate that Kidman will serve as the primary residential parent, with 306 days with the girls compared to Urban’s 59. Both parents are required to attend a parenting seminar within 60 days of the filing, with the shared goal of fostering a supportive, loving environment.

Even as Kidman navigates life post-divorce, she remains a style and beauty icon. Her holiday outing, with its effortless curls, backless silk gown, and understated accessories, was a throwback to her earlier looks while signaling a fresh, confident chapter in her life.

Adding to her glamorous 2026 plans, the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute announced that Kidman will serve as one of three co-chairs for the Met Gala, joining Beyoncé and Venus Williams.
