Aoki Lee Simmons is opening up about her personal well-being, sharing a heartfelt look at her health journey.
On Thursday, Dec. 4, the 23-year-old daughter of Kimora Lee Simmons posted a collection of Instagram photos paired with an emotional message about prioritizing self-care — both physically and mentally.
"She was a good person, she was trying her very best to be what certain people wanted her to be. 💜 (but girls you gotta eat or the brain don’t brain! The decisions don’t decision! The choices don’t choice! I promise you that much)," she wrote.
The post follows shortly after Aoki and her family returned to television in the new series Kimora: Back in the Fab Lane. Her carousel included images of her in an all-denim outfit posing in a showroom, trying on a sheer dress, and sitting in a car while wearing a glittering gold and silver ensemble.
Another shot captured her bundled in a puffer jacket with headphones, next to text that read, "I wish I slept on the plane😂."
Aoki Lee — who mentioned last fall that she was “wrapping up” her modeling career — also shared a polished headshot and a video of herself posing in sophisticated business attire. Though the photos showcased her recent adventures, it was her thoughtful caption that struck a chord with followers.

Her mother, Kimora Lee, 50, added her own encouragement in the comments, writing, "You are always ENOUGH!😍❤️👏🥂."
Kimora shares Aoki Lee and her older sister Ming, 25, with ex-husband Russell Simmons and is also mother to Kenzo, 16, Gary, 16, Wolfe, 10, and her “bonus son” Jaden, 19.
