In recent days, Christian Nodal’s name has once again been at the center of conversation after rumors spread on social media about a possible distancing from his father and manager, Jaime González. The speculation, which also hinted at a shift in the direction of his career, caused concern among fans, who questioned whether Pepe Aguilar had stepped in to oversee the artist’s professional path.
During a press conference in Bogotá, ahead of his show at the MedPlus Coliseum, Nodal responded directly to the questions and cleared up the doubts: “It’s not true. We have a very beautiful family bond, and especially in business,” he said calmly, making it clear that his relationship with his father remains strong.
The 26-year-old singer admitted he was surprised at how quickly fabricated stories can go viral and confessed he doesn’t understand the motives behind such posts. “I don’t know what the interest is in stirring up conflicts that don’t exist,” he lamented, referring to the wave of rumors that placed him in the middle of supposed family tensions.
Beyond his role as manager, Jaime González has been a key figure in his son’s career. In addition to supporting him personally, he also works as a producer and partner in the label SG Music, through which they have collaborated with prominent names in regional Mexican music.
Loyal to his people
While recent social media posts rarely show Nodal with his parents —and it’s also uncommon to see Ángela Aguilar publicly sharing moments with her in-laws— the Sonoran singer emphasized that these absences don’t reflect any estrangement. On the contrary, he underlined that both his family and professional relationships remain harmonious.
Finally, the “Botella tras botella” performer spoke about his professional partnerships, stressing the importance of trust in his career. “With my record label I maintain loyalty; I’m also a partner and we’re good,” he said, highlighting that both his artistic and personal life are in a solid place, regardless of the rumors surrounding him.
Tensions with Cazzu
Cazzu, known as “Nena Trampa,” seemed to send a subtle message to her child's father, singer Christian Nodal, while also appearing visibly emotional during a specific performance.
On Saturday, September 13, the Jujuy-born artist kicked off her tour, which will also bring her to Mexico in the upcoming weeks. With a show that blends music, dance, visual arts, and plenty of passion, Julieta Emilia Cazzuchelli, better known as Cazzu, gave her all to her audience.
Amid the excitement, Cazzu shared a message: “Learn, you know? Watch and learn. That’s it. And you thought you were the devil, idiot,” the 31-year-old singer can be heard saying.
Both artists have been in the spotlight after Cazzu revealed that Nodal has refused to grant permission for their two-year-old daughter, Inti, to leave Argentina, keeping her from traveling abroad with her mother.
