Joseph Baena is living his best life. The 27-year-old son of Arnold Schwarzenegger is making the most of his summer, and on Tuesday, he shared a gallery of memories, with the first slide being a loved-up photo with his girlfriend, Mel Randel.
The lovebirds looked like they were on an ocean pier overlooking the water, with the Dutch model holding her man from behind, her arms wrapped around his chiseled waist. They looked like they were dressed for different climates, but muscle must keep you warm. Randel chimed in the comments, writing, “Everyday with you is like Labor Day weekend.”
Joseph, whose mother is Midlred Baena, also shared other memories from his summer, captioning the carousel, “The in between days.” In the mix were moments of him pumping iron like his dad in the gym, flexing with some of his buff friends, and a video of him shredding the waves on a surfboard.
Mel: There for Joe during the good and the bad
The couple has been together for over two years and has vacationed around the world, attended events like the Golden Globe Awards, and has spent time with his dad, including a trip to Canada last summer.
The model has around 5,000 followers on Instagram, but not much is publicly known about her except that she is Dutch and looks a lot like Bella Hadid. According to multiple outlets, she previously listed on her Instagram profile that she is represented by Wilhelmina and Ophelia Model Management.
She also seems very close to Joseph’s extended family. Earlier this year, in March, Joseph’s nephew, Vicente, passed away, and she shared a heartfelt message on social media.
“It’s been a week since Joe’s nephew, Vicente, passed away. He just graduated high school,” she shared on her Instagram Story at the time. “His life was just beginning, but he was fighting a silent war and lost. His soul was pure. We miss him and we miss the memories we’ll never get to make with him. We will carry his spirit with us forever. Please be kind to your mind.”
Time will tell if the couple decides to get married and have children, making Arnold a grandpa again.
