Machine Gun Kelly has a pretty unconventional diet. The musician, born Colson Baker, was recently featured on a livestream with Adin Ross, shedding light on his curious eating habits.
While speaking to Ross, Kelly revealed that his diet is made up of mostly water. He shared that he was recently on a stream with his friend Mike Mjlak, where the two ate a burger, with Kelly revealing that he only ate it because "that's my man's s--t."
"I don't really eat, just do water a bunch," Kelly said, revealing that he only eats a couple of times a week. When he does, he'll only eat "bone broth with kimchi and sauerkraut," since these are good sources of probiotics.
"When you do those water fasts, the only thing that's crazy is that it kills all the good bacteria in you, too," said Kelly, which is why he needs to supplement his meals with good probiotics, which are found in fermented foods and promote healthy gut bacteria.
Kelly shared that he also drinks coffee and smokes cigarrettes, and sometimes he'll make exceptions for certain drinks. "I drink celery juice sometimes, coconut water." The restrictive diet does take a toll on his body, with Kelly revealing that he sometimes feels lightheaded and weak.
Is that actually healthy?
While the guys who were with Kelly were impressed by his diet, asking whether or not he consumed supplements and for probiotics recommendations, online viewers had a different opinion and a better understanding of how bodies work, needing a balanced diet of proteins, vitamins, fruits, carbs, and vegetables.
"This is one of the most unintelligent conversations I've ever heard," wrote someone.
"Explains an eating disorder and smokes cigs as the other guys are saying he’s healthy," wrote a second person.
In the past, Kelly's opened up about his eating habits, revealing that he ate plenty of fast food and that dating Megan Fox was helpful in helping him eat better. "She eats super healthy. Everything is gluten-free and organic on her menu," he said in a 2020 interview with "104.3 The Shark."
