Jaden Smith is 27 years old! The son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith celebrated his birthday on July 8th and received congratulations and sweet tributes from his loved ones and fans. In a sweet post, Will celebrated the birthday of his youngest son, sharing some rare and adorable footage of Jaden over the years.
© Getty Images for NetflixThe post was shared on Will's Instagram and opened with a photo of Will and Jaden taken years ago, showing Will in a white tank top, holding on to Jaden as a toddler, wearing a dark blue surf shirt. Will laughs as Jaden smiles, with his eyes looking somewhere off camera.
A video shows Jaden as a baby, doing some cartwheels on the floor. The clip then cuts to Jaden practicing some martial arts, footage that was captured for his movie "Karate Kid," which came out in 2010 and co-starred Jackie Chang.
© @willsmithThe last image in the post shows Will and Jaden performing together, and it's much more recent. In it, Will wears a red jacket, a white t-shirt and some jeans while Jaden kneels on the stage, with a black hat, a white tank top and black shorts.

Will Smith is the father of three kids: Willow, 24, Jaden, and Trey, 32. He shares Willow and Jaden with Pinkett-Smith, and Trey with his first wife, Sheree Zampino.
In recent years, Smith has opened up about parenting and how his relationship with his kids has improved the more he worked on himself and his own issues. "As a parent, because I'm continuing to push, because I'm continuing to work on myself and I'm continuing to try to get my head around this grand mystery... Because I'm continuing to work, my children are gravitating toward me more," he said at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles.
