Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey have officially entered their next chapter as husband and wife, and soon, as parents. The 33-year-old model and former Miss Universe and the 29-year-old San Francisco 49ers running back recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary in June 2025, just months after announcing they’re expecting their first child.
Their relationship began quietly in June 2019, staying under the radar until their public debut at the NFL Honors in Miami in early 2020. The Other Women actress was saddened to say goodbye to Charlotte, North Carolina, after Christian was traded from the team, Carolina Panthers to the San Francisco 49ers.Captioning an Instagram Reel, which showed highlights of the couple’s time in the city, she wrote: “This city stole my heart and I’ll never forget the memories and people who made the last 3+ years so special.”

Christian’s move to the San Francisco 49ers allowed them to live on the same coast (West), and it made their lives “so much easier”.
Olivia told Us Weekly: “It’s going to make everything so much easier.“I feel like when you care about somebody, you have to understand the things that they’re gonna have to do to reach their dreams and potential..."
"We’re both really understanding about [our] schedules and the way that things have to work for the time being, and that definitely helps.“I think when you’re on the same page with that you can, you really can make it work.”
Olivia decided to freeze her eggs to take the pressure off her relationship with Christian, which was due to fertility, and so that the couple could decide “when the time is right” for them to have children.

Olivia and Christian announced their engagement after almost four years of dating.They got engaged during a romantic getaway to Utah.Captioning a black-and-white photo carousel of the athlete as he popped the question as he got down on one knee, as well as Olivia flaunting her sparkly diamond ring, she wrote: “4.2.23” along with the infinity symbol.
