Lauren Sánchez took a moment to think of someone important who couldn't make it. As Sánchez and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos soak up the love during their lavish pre-wedding festivities in Venice, Italy, one name was notably missing from the star-studded guest list.

Katy Perry, who's currently down under on her "Lifetimes" tour in Australia, wasn't able to join the couple for the celebrations. But Sánchez made sure her absence didn't go unnoticed. When Perry shared an upbeat Instagram post captioned with a sunny "mood," Sánchez quickly dropped into the comments with a simple but meaningful message: "We miss you, Katy," followed by a heart emoji.

A Wedding Without Katy, But With Orlando

The surprising presence of Orlando Bloom, Perry's now ex-fiancé, adds some intrigue to the glittering Italian wedding backdrop. The "Lord of the Rings" star flew solo into Venice, making headlines as he greeted fellow guest Kim Kardashian with a warm hug and air kisses, looking relaxed and very much part of the inner circle.

According to reports, Bloom isn't particularly close with Sánchez or Bezos compared to Perry. A source told Daily Mail, "They're really her friends more than his, and yet he's the one going to the wedding." And apparently, Perry is less than thrilled about it.

TMZ added fuel to the fire, claiming that Perry viewed Bloom's solo RSVP as a subtle dig. While he was rubbing shoulders with Hollywood elites in Italy, she was thousands of miles away performing for fans and perhaps processing more than just tour logistics.

On Wednesday, she posted a cryptic yet empowering video to Instagram about embracing "new chapters," shared via a popular astrology account. The message says that people born on her birthday are currently "ending things that no longer serve the collective."
