Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos' wedding: Everything we know so far

Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos are getting married! The couple, who have enjoyed a long engagement, is saying 'I do' in the coming days, in one of the most awaited wedding ceremonies of the year. Sanchez and Bezos are expected to host their closest friends and family in a celebration that will surely be one of the biggest and best-organized events in recent memory. Sanchez and Bezos are expected to get married this week, between the dates of June 26th and 28th. The event is rumored to last through the weekend, with the couple welcoming around 200 guests for the occasion.

The wedding will be hosted in Venice, Italy, and has sparked local protests from Venetians complaining about the wedding's impact on the city's already strained capacity for tourism, especially during the busy summer season. The protests are part of a movement called "No Space for Bezos." 

Sanchez and Bezos have been addressing these complaints by donating money to local charities and hiring Venice artisans and workers for the event, giving back to the city that's hosting them. According to Page Six, the couple is encouraging their A-list friends to donate to the city as well. 

The wedding venue has been kept under wraps, with various unconfirmed reports suggesting that it could take place at the Lido beach, on the Island of San Giorgio, or at the Renaissance building the Scuola Grande della Misericordia.

Bezos and Sanchez will likely celebrate their union in various events, like many destination weddings. The couple will likely host dinners and outings for their guests to enjoy Venice and Italy. 

This past weekend, TMZ shared photos of Bezos and Sanchez enjoying a foam party aboard the Koru, Bezos's million-dollar yacht. The pair seemed thrilled with each other, with photographers capturing them kissing while covered in foam.

 The guest list is unknown, but the party is expected to host around 200 people, including friends, family, celebrities, and tech moguls. Some of the A-listers are rumored to be in attendance include Oprah Winfrey, Jay-Z & Beyonce, Mick Jagger, and more. Sanchez's close friends Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Eva Longoria, Katy Perry, and more are also expected to be included.

The New York Times reports that while President Donald Trump won't be attending, his daughter Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, might be making an appearance.
