Jennifer Garner looks up to her mom. In a new video shared on her Instagram stories, Garner celebrated her mother Pat's 87th birthday, sharing one of her mother's impressive achievements, which she has managed to follow through with for years.

The clip celebrates Pat's impressive activity levels and the fact that she's one of Apple Watch's biggest fans at the age of 87. "Hello, I'm sitting here with Apple's number one influencer, Pat Garner," jokes Garner in the clip, cuddling her mom.
"Mom, your Apple Watch. How many days have you closed your rings?" she asks her.
Pat replies quickly and proudly. "One thousand seven hundred and fifteen," she said.

The Apple Watch has three rings that stand for the main fitness elements it tracks, representing "move," "exercise," and "stand." The fact that Pat has completed this number of days shows that she's incredibly consistent with her routines and fitness. She's clearly a source of inspiration for Garner, who also devotes plenty of her time and efforts to her physical health.

On her birthday, Garner revealed she was taking up a running challenge for a good cause. She revealed that she'd be running a mile a day for 67 days while donating to the foundation Save the Children to provide meal kits for kids in need.
Garner shared that running is not her favorite sport, and has been keeping her followers updated through social media, with her sharing some of her progress on her stories.
"Okay, mountain mama," she says in a recent video, which has a geotag of West Virginia.
"West Virginia, you're pretty, but you're all hills! 29," she said, referencing her day in the challenge.
