Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz have been noticeably absent from recent family gatherings, fueling rumors of a brewing family feud. While the speculation was easy to ignore at first, their absence from David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebration in London raised eyebrows. David marked the milestone on May 2, and given how close-knit the Beckham family is, it was surprising not to see Brooklyn in attendance.

Turning 50 is a big deal, and they went all out for the celebration. According to a Us Weekly insider, the family drama reached new heights because of their absence. A source told the outlet that Brooklyn and Nicola asked for “special treatment” and wanted a separate meet-up with David instead of attending the main event.

The family reportedly shut that down. “David and Victoria are over it,” the insider said. “They’ve thrown in the towel over the whole thing.”

As for where all this is coming from, there is reportedly some bad blood between Romeo and Brooklyn, who are not on speaking terms over his girlfriend, Kim Turnbull. Romeo, 22, and Kim were both at the party, along with Victoria, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 13.

However, there are also rumors it's Nicola, with a source telling The Daily Mail, "This has nothing to do with Kim and is all about Nicola. All David and Victoria want is their son back – and they will be there to welcome him any time."

The source explained that the famous parents are trying to keep things simple, and "treat everyone the same and approach life like a family and the family does things a certain way."

All the drama is giving a sense of deja vu from Brooklyn and Nicola's wedding, when there was headline after headline. The insider pointed it out, too, saying David and Victoria hope they will "come around" but are over the antics, as it seems like "every event—from weddings to birthdays to holidays" has drama.

David's party

Despite not having all his kids there, David seemed to have fun. He shared multiple posts and shouted out all his kids, sharing a gallery of images of him as a child, and of his children. "My wife and best friend of 28 years, and my beautiful children, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz & Harper, you are the reason I get out of bed each day. Thank you for making me smile and thank you for making me a better man," he wrote in the caption.

At the actual party, Romeo picked up his guitar and performed. Guests at the star-studded party included Tom Cruise, Eva Longoria, Gordon Ramsay, and Guy Ritchie.
