Travis Kelce unfollows Ryan Reynolds amid Taylor Swift and Blake Lively fallout: Here's the drama explained 

There seems to be a new update on the Blake Lively and Taylor Swift drama, as online users have now pointed out that a social media interaction could indicate another crack in the singer and the star's friendship.

Swifties have been quick to share the latest Instagram interaction between Travis Kelce and Ryan Reynolds, with the athlete seemingly unfollowing the actor over the weekend, sparking speculation about a possible rift tied to Taylor Swift's ongoing friendship fallout with Blake Lively.

The eagle-eyed fans of the musician were the first to spot the interaction, with one Reddit user calling out the apparent social media shade on Sunday, writing, “Yikes.” 

Screenshots soon surfaced showing that Travis did indeed follow Ryan in the past but had since unfollowed him, while the actor still follows the sportsman as of Monday morning.

This comes after a period of growing tension surrounding Taylor's friendship with Blake Lively, who continues to be in the spotlight for her legal drama with Justin Baldoni.

Why did Travis Kelce unfollow Ryan Reynolds?

The actor and NFL star had been following each other since 2023. They even interacted with each other on social media, with Travis liking Ryan's posts in the past, before the recent drama surrounding Blake and Taylor.

The singer and the actress have been close friends since 2015, frequently seen together at public events. However, rumors started circulating earlier this year that there might be tension between the two stars after Blake’s legal conflict began.

Sources close to Taylor revealed to Page Six that the pop star felt "used" by the situation and wished she had not been dragged into her friend's legal issues. “Taylor really wishes Blake hadn’t dragged her into this whole situation,” a source said, with another sharing that the pop star was “not afraid” of being deposed.

It was also reported earlier this month that Blake had issued a "genuine" and "heartfelt" apology to Taylor for involving her in the legal drama. Sources indicated that the two have since "moved forward" and resolved any lingering issues, with "no hard feelings."
