According to an official statement shared on her social media, María Becerra was rushed to a clinic in Buenos Aires early Tuesday morning. The statement credits her boyfriend, fellow singer J Rei (real name Julián Reininger), for his quick response, which allowed her to receive timely medical attention.
"Mari went through another ectopic pregnancy that resulted in internal bleeding and a life-threatening situation," the statement said. "Thanks to Juli's quick action, the medical team, and their support network, she was treated in time."
María is now stable, recovering, and resting after surgery and a stint in intensive care.
