Maria Sharapova was a towering vision at the unveiling of Billie Jean King's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The retired tennis star joined other sports and entertainment icons as they honored King, who became the first woman to receive a star under the new sports entertainment category at the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The photos showed off Sharapova's impressive build, which approximates Johnson's famous height.

In her speech, King acknowledged the historic part of the recognition, sharing how honored she was to be the first woman to be recognized in the sports entertainment category. "The important thing is, I don’t want to be the last one,” she said.

Maria Sharapova is recognized as one of the greatest tennis legends of all time. The Russian player was a five-time Grand Slam champion, a winner at the Olympics, and the number 1 player according to WTA rankings during the height of her career.
She retired in 2020 and is now an entrepreneur and investor, being involved in various businesses and startups.
