Robert De Niro is a proud dad. The Hollywood star has been sharing his excitement about his new life chapter after welcoming his baby daughter, Gia Virginia Chen-De Niro. The actor also revealed that he plans to continue working in the film industry but feels happy spending quality time with her.

© AARP/Youtube"I just want to keep up, but I watch current events, if you will news [and] stuff like that," he told the host. "Now I watch, with my little girl, The Wiggles and Ms. Rachel." He continued, "I didn't know of them until I started seeing them and my daughter loves to watch them," he added. "But they’re great!"

So sweet,” he said to the publication. “[When I] look at her, everything else goes away. So it’s a great joy and relief to just be with her in the moment.” He went on to say that he loves "being together" with his family" and "taking trips to warm places."
© Gilbert FloresWhen talking about continuing to work in new movies and accepting more roles in the future, the actor said he is not planning to retire as he still "enjoys" working. The father of seven was asked about what being a good dad means to him during an interview with Access Hollywood.
"Sometimes I don't think people really know what being a good father is, you know you have a responsibility, but it's a mystery, it's a lot of excitement but scary and you do your best," he said.
