Charli XCX was one of the highlight performers at the 2025 Grammys. She was nominated for eight Grammys, taking home three of them, including Best Dance/Electronic Album for her record "Brat." Her performance was made up of two songs and featured her walking through the parking lot and onto the Grammys stage, where she was joined by a large group of people, including some notorious internet personalities.

One of them was a tall man wearing a suit and dark sunglasses. Charli approached him on the stage and put her arm around him. Many viewers thought he was Barron Trump, Donald Trump's youngest child.

“Is that Barron Trump on Charli XCX stage?” wrote a user on X.

Some even thought that Charli and her team had purposefully added a fake Barron to their performance, adding some commentary on world politics. “The fake Barron Trump was a nice touch,” read a separate post on X.

A closer look at Charli XCX and The Dare on the stage

And while it would have been a great shock if Barron Trump had come out onstage amid Charli's performance, that wasn't the case. Barron's doppelganger is The Dare, an American musician who's worked with Charli XCX in the past.

"During charli’s performance my dad thought The Dare was Barron Trump IM LAUGHING," wrote a third user.

The Dare was seen kissing a woman onstage and standing next to Charli during her "Guess" performance, a song he produced and that was also nominated for the Grammys.
