Gerard Pique will be residing in Miami for the next few months. The decision to temporarily relocate is due to Shakira's world tour, which is kicking off now and will have her traveling abroad for the next couple of weeks. According to various news outlets, Pique's girlfriend Clara Chia has been greatly impacted by the news.
© AFP via Getty ImagesIn an appearance on "El gordo y la flaca," the Spanish paparazzi Jordi Martin shared new images of Clara entering and leaving the offices of Kosmos, the company owned by Pique, where the two met a few years ago.
"She arrived devastated at Kosmos, the company where she works," said Martin in Spanish. "If I were Clara Chia, I would be worried."
Martin shared that the paparazzi who sent her the images of Clara Chia told him that she seemed "very very sad." He described her as having red and puffy eyes as if she had been crying the previous night. "I'm not happy to see Clara Chia in this state, but we have to show these exclusive images," he said.
© POOL/AFP via Getty ImagesThe photos show Clara arriving and, some hours later, leaving her office. She wore an all-black outfit for the occasion, made out of slacks and a jacket. After working in the office, she was seen going to a beauty salon.
On a previous occasion, Martin revealed that Pique's move was facilitated by Shakira, who called him to ask for a favor.
"Shakira called Gerard Pique and said: 'Gerard, I need you to come to Miami and stay with the kids," said Martin. "It was a positive reaction from his part. He said, 'Wow, this is a gift that life has given me, nothing would make me happier than spending more time with my kids,' so he goes and packs his bags and leaves for Miami. He leaves alone, without Clara Chia."

Martin has also discussed Shakira and Pique's relationship, which seems to be in a friendlier and better place than it was at the time of their rupture. According to Martin's sources, Pique will stay in Miami until April of this year, while Shakira is in Mexico for her performances.
"They speak very often,' said Martin of the relationship between Shakira and Pique.
It's expected that Shakira will be with her kids through May and June when she's touring in the US.
