Jennifer Garner celebrates her sisters' birthdays with heartwarming photos and message

Jennifer Garner is celebrating the birthdays of two of her favorite people in the world: her sisters. In a new post on Instagram, Garner shared some adorable childhood photos with the world, showing her and her sisters over the years.

She also revealed that this week hosts both of her sisters' birthdays. 

Garner's post is made up of her and her sisters over the years, showing the three enjoying all manner of activities together. Photos show the three in a photoshoot, on hikes, on vacations, carving pumpkins for Halloween, and more. 

"My sisters’ birthdays fall on either side of this week, just as my sisters landed on either side of me," wrote Garner.

"Smashed in the middle, right between Melissa and Susannah, is where I belong—more than any other spot on the planet. I’m more and more grateful to be the middle Garner Girl, buffered from the world by one big and one little. Happy birthday, Sisters."

While Melissa and Sussanah lead private lives, they're often featured in Garner's social media or are mentioned in different interviews. The three daughters are the kids of William and Pat Garner, and grew up in West Virginia, an area that Garner loves. 

Garner speaks fondly of her sisters and her childhood. “Being the middle sister of these three girls is the relationship that defines me more than anything else. More than being my kids’ mother... I’m first and foremost the middle Garner girl,” said Garner in an interview with Southern Living.

When Garner received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, her sisters and her entire family were in attendance, proudly supporting her achievements. While speaking to the audience at the event, Garner thanked her nieces and nephews for supporting her and skipping school in her honor. 

“A special shoutout to my niece and nephew, who are missing their first days of school, to be here today because, in the Garner family, fame matters more than education," she said. 

"Obviously, that’s not true. They’re equal."
