One Day At a Time is getting an animated makeover. While the filming of the Latinx show was postponed in March amid the coronavirus pandemic, the show is returning to our small screen this spring with an all-animated episode. “As we all know, it’s hard to keep One Day at a Time off the air. During this unprecedented time, we wanted to find a way to keep our family – on camera and behind the scenes – together and create more entertaining content for our fans who are self-distancing at home. This animated special gives us an exciting opportunity to imagine the Alvarez family in a colorful new way while continuing to tell important and relevant stories,” said the show’s executive producer and co-show runner Gloria Calderón Kellett.

Celebrity chef José Andrés continues to prove that not all heroes wear capes. Andrés and his charity, World Central Kitchen, distributed 25,000 meal at Oriole Park in Baltimore with the help of Mayor Jack Young and some volunteers. The celebrity chef took to Twitter to announce that he will be returning every Saturday and Wednesday and Friday at schools.
