Princess Amalia has completed an important step in her life as a royal. The Netherlands Royal House recently confirmed the news that the Princess of Orange had completed her assignment as a military working student in the Royal Air Force. The house shared various photos, showing the capable princess taking on multiple tasks alongside fellow students.
© @koninklijkhuisThe photos were shared on Instagram and showed the Princess participating in numerous military training drills, wearing the necessary camo uniform and protective gear, including a bulletproof vest, a helmet, and the Netherlands patch sewn on the side of the arm.
The Princess was photographed inside a military plane, alongside other members of the military, and in a field, carrying all sorts of gear.

"Previously, the Princess of Orange was associated with the Defense Management Staff as a working student and attended the General Military Training (AMO)."
The post also outlined the Princess's future, which includes completing the remainder of her military training. "The Princess of Orange is doing practical experience in Defense with her education at Defense College. Through various workplaces, trainings and activities, she gets acquainted with the military and works on her personal, professional and military development."

Young royals usually complete their military training, offering a part-time job for them as they complete their studies, while also reinforcing the connection between the armed forces and civilians.
The royal house has been sharing photos of the Princess' progress, with her following the necessary protocol, including wearing her hair held back and sporting little makeup. Earlier this year, Amalia was accompanied by her mother, Queen Maxima, who attended her graduation from military school. Through the event, Maxima looked excited and on the verge of tears, proud of her daughter's achievement.
At 22, Princess Amalia is the heir to the Dutch throne. She's also the first woman in the Dutch royal family to train as a military reservist, combining her duties in the armed forces with the bachelor's degree she's pursuing at the University of Amsterdam, where she's studying law.
