Princess Amalia and Queen Máxima coordinate in blue floral looks for important royal engagement

Princess Amalia stepped into the spotlight alongside King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima on Monday as the Dutch royal family attended an extraordinary meeting of the Council of State at Kneuterdijk Palace in The Hague.

The engagement marked the farewell of outgoing Vice-President Thom de Graaf, who officially leaves the role on July 1 after nearly eight years of service. He will be succeeded by Sybrand van Haersma Buma.

As the formal president of the Council of State, King Willem-Alexander presided over the occasion, while both Queen Máxima and Princess Amalia attended in their capacity as active members of the advisory body.

While the event underscored an important institutional transition, the royal women also drew attention with coordinated floral ensembles that perfectly captured the elegance of the summer season.

Queen Máxima embraced her signature sophisticated style in a soft blue-green floral midi dress by Natan Couture.

The delicate design featured a high, softly draped neckline, sheer long sleeves, and a flowing silhouette with subtle watercolor-inspired blooms in shades of blue, green, and lavender.

The Princess of Orange rewore the brand's blue floral "Tilly" wrap-style midi dress, a design she previously debuted during the Dutch royal family's Caribbean tour in 2023.
