Charlene of Monaco was one of the most rock-and-roll royals, boasting leather jackets, edgy looks, and a half-shaved head. Nowadays, the Monaguesque princess has embraced a more classic and traditional style, retaining an inventive and fashionable edge by adding original details to most of her looks.
© AFP via Getty ImagesYesterday, Charlene attended the International Jewelry Fair in Monte Carlo wearing a look that Coco Chanel might have worn in 2025: a sophisticated, versatile, and comfortable ensemble packed with small and glamorous touches that gave it a singular touch. The look is by the French house Edward Achour and consists of two special pieces in black and white.
The blouse, made of black silk chiffon, features a contrasting shirt collar that matches the fitted cuffs, as well as discreet puffed sleeves. It features a front row of pearls that pose as buttons, giving the look a timeless and fun touch. Another of the shirt's special details includes two small layers of the same fabric, visually simulating a jacket, though it is actually a single garment.
As for the pants, they are a flattering design that visually lengthens the legs and slims the figure. Made from the same fabric as the blouse, the pants feature a high waist and a flared silhouette, along with vertical white trims that enhance the “infinite legs” effect.
Charlene completed the look with a pair of classic black pointed-toe heels with stiletto heels, as well as a matching structured handbag with a pearl and diamond closure.

Given that it was a jewelry event, it is no surprise that Charlene gave her earrings a starring role. The Princess chose an elegant and timeless pair made up of large diamond earrings with a large pearl dangling from them.
As usual, the Princess styled her hair in a low bun, giving her outfit a romantic touch, showcasing a middle part and loose strands framing and highlighting her face. For makeup, the princess opted for a subtle palette, made primarily of black eyeliner and pink lipstick.
