It’s a historic day for Princess Leonor, as she debuts in her role as Princess of Viana, traveling with her parents to the Chartered Community of Navarra.

She faces a full day of official engagements, starting in Pamplona with a visit to the Government Palace of Navarra and ending in Yesa with a tribute to the Kings of Navarra at the Monastery of San Salvador de Leyre.

For this intense schedule, which includes a variety of events, she opted for a versatile look, one of those outfits that blend elegance and comfort, perfect for wearing from early morning until late at night.

Mother-daughter fashion moments:

As a child, Leonor used to dress just like her younger sister, Infanta Sofía. But over the years, the sisters have developed distinct personal styles. While Sofía tends to go for more modern, trendy looks, the older sister is increasingly aligning stylistically with her mother, and today she proved it once again.

Their preference for suits:

Their shared love for this type of outfit may stem from its combination of elegance, comfort, modernity, and timelessness. It's also ideal for this in-between season, when chilly mornings give way to warmer afternoons.

Their understated looks are also a way to let the focus stay on the event itself. This approach was seen at the Princess of Girona Awards, where the Queen and her daughters wore chic yet low-key matching pantsuits.

Leonor’s Look:

Leonor chose a navy pinstripe suit, a regal and elegant choice. But she added trendy touches to make it age-appropriate (she turns 20 in a month). The standout feature is the suit’s cut, which is looser and more relaxed than what royals typically wear. She also skipped the traditional blouse, leaving a flattering and tasteful V-neckline exposed.

Both the jacket and trousers are by Hugo Boss, one of her mother’s favorite fashion houses. The blazer is described by the brand as a "relaxed fit" due to its wider and more fluid cut.

Leonor went all-in on navy blue, pairing her suit with a matching clutch and classic suede pumps with a slender heel. As usual, she accessorized with delicate gold jewelry to brighten the ensemble, including one of her favorite rings, the Gravity model from PDPAOLA, a brand also beloved by Queen Letizia.

By coordinating with her mother and choosing a modern take on a timeless look, Princess Leonor not only honored the significance of the day but also showcased her growing confidence and evolving style as a young royal on the rise.
