President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump are continuing their official visit to the UK. The pair arrived on Tuesday and has a full day ahead packed with meetings and engagements, including an encounter with the King and Queen of England and the Prince and Princess of Wales.
To kick off the day, Melania Trump opted for a sober and discreet look, a vibe that she kicked off yesterday by opting for neutral tones and classic silhouettes. Today, she opted for French haute couture, pairing it with a hat that's a wink to the British Royals.
A Haute Couture look

Today, she's opting for Christian Dior, the French fashion house, wearing one of the house's trademark grey suits. The outfit is made up of a jacket and a midi skirt, boasting Dior's trademark cinched waist.
The jacket evoked a military look with its shoulder pads and simple details, resulting in a straightforward outfit that she rounded out with black high heels.

She referenced royalty with the color of the hat, purple, which has been linked with royalty and luxury in the past due to its high production cost. She paired the hat with a low bun, adding another layer to the classical outfit.
A meeting with the senior British royals

While Charles opted for a traditional navy suit, the Queen wore a bright blue skirt suit with a matching wide-brimmed hat.
