Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank is two! Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's second child celebrated his second birthday on May 30. The mom of two marked her little boy's special day with a carousel of photos on her personal Instagram that included adorable solo shots of Ernie, as well as pictures of him with his mom, his dad Jack and his big brother August Philip Hawke Brooksbank.

"Happy Birthday my darling Ernie. 2 today! And what an incredible two years it's been. Always smiling, always laughing, always giving hugs and hello's and making everyone happy. My golden boy, we love you! 🥰," Eugenie captioned the post.

In the comments, fans remarked on the resemblance between the Princess and her younger child. "He is the image of you 💙x," one commented on the photos. "From what I can tell, he's your 'mini me!' 😊," another wrote, which prompted one Instagram user to reply, "Came to say the same - spitting image of his Mama."

Eugenie and Jack, who have been married since 2018, welcomed their second child on May 30, 2023. Days after his birth, the Princess introduced Ernest on Instagram, revealing that he was named "after his great great great Grandfather George, his Grandpa George and my Grandpa Ronald." Jack's late father's name was George Brooksbank, while Eugenie’s late maternal grandfather was Ronald Ferguson. On the Tea Talks with the Duchess and Sarah podcast, the Princess' mother Sarah Ferguson shared that it was so moving that her daughter and son-in-law had put her "dad in there," adding, "It was very kind, I thought. Yeah, made me cry, of course.”

Ernest is currently fourteenth in line to the throne, after his older brother August, who is thirteenth. Eugenie and Jack's first child, nicknamed Augie, was born in February 2021. Following Ernest's birth in 2023, the Princess revealed that Augie was "loving being a big brother already."

King Charles' 35-year-old niece has said that her kids make her "world go around." In an interview for The Anti-Slavery Collective in 2024, Princess Eugenie said (via The Express), "Becoming a parent is the most special, mind-blowing experience of a person's life. My children make my world go around."
