Princess Alexandra of Luxembourg's baby bump was on display during celebrations for the closing of the Octave 2025. The 34 year old and her husband Nicolas Bagory joined Luxembourg's royal family in the procession on Sunday, as well as on the palace's balcony. Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa's daughter was chicly dressed in a tweed dress, which she paired with a matching jacket for the occasion.
One image shared by the Grand Ducal Court of Luxembourg showed Alexandra walking between her husband and her younger brother Prince Sébastien. The expectant royal's appearance came three days after the Grand Ducal Court of Luxembourg announced that the Princess is pregnant with her second child.
"Their Royal Highnesses the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess are delighted to announce that Princess Alexandra and Mr. Nicolas Bagory are expecting their second child," the Grand Ducal Court revealed on May 22 (translated to English). "The birth is expected in the fall. The Grand Duke, the Grand Duchess and members of both families join in the joy of their children."
Proud mom and grandma Maria Teresa also shared the happy news on her personal Instagram account.
Alexandra and Nicolas, who wed in April of 2023, became first-time parents last year. The couple welcomed their daughter Victoire less than a month after their first wedding anniversary. In a statement announcing the royal baby's birth, the Grand Ducal Court said, "The Grand Duke and the Grand Duchess have the great joy of announcing the birth of their granddaughter Victoire, first child of their daughter Alexandra and their son-in-law Nicolas, born this Tuesday, May 14 in Paris."
Princess Alexandra is Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa’s fourth child and only daughter. Her and Nicolas' second child will be the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess' ninth grandchild.
Henri, who is stepping down from the throne later this year, and Maria Teresa are already grandparents to son Prince Guillaume and Princess Stéphanie kids, Prince Charles and Prince François; son Prince Félix and Princess Claire's children, Princess Amalia, Prince Liam and Prince Balthazar; son Prince Louis' boys Prince Gabriel and Prince Noah; and daughter Princess Alexandra's one-year-old Victoire.
