The second celebration marking Isabella's birthday is scheduled for April 15. Six days before her turning 18, the Princess and the royal family will attend a birthday performance on The Old Stage of The Royal Danish Theatre. "The Royal House of Denmark, in cooperation with The Royal Danish Theatre, invites the young generation to entertaining, exciting and varied performing arts that are both classical and modern. The theatre will be filled with a young audience, as more than 1000 young people ranging from the ages of 17 to 24 from the whole Realm will have the opportunity to get tickets to the birthday performance via a lottery," per the Royal House.

New portraits of Isabella, dressed in a blue button-down shirt and pantsuit, accompanied the birthday events announcement on March 6. The pictures of the Princess were taken by photographer Steen Evald in Frederik VIII’s Palace at Amalienborg.

Isabella is the King and Queen's second child and eldest daughter. She is currently second in line to the Danish throne, after her older brother, Crown Prince Christian. Their father, King Frederik, ascended the throne in January 2024 following his mother Queen Margrethe II's abdication. In addition to Princess Isabella and Crown Prince Christian, Mary and Frederik are parents to 14-year-old twins Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine.
