Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa spend time with another royal couple in London

Crown Prince Hussein caught up with another pal while in the UK. The Jordanian royal and his wife, Princess Rajwa, reunited with Prince Abdul Mateen of Brunei and his wife, Princess Anisha Rosnah. Hussein shared a group photo of the four of them on Tuesday, Jan, 28. "With our dear friends Prince Abdul Mateen and Princess Anisha Rosnah of Brunei," the Crown Prince captioned the post.

Prince Abdul Mateen shared the same picture on his respective account, writing, "Wonderful seeing our dear friends, Crown Prince Al Hussein and Princess Rajwa."

According to HOLA! USA's sister brand HELLO! and ArabNews.com, the reunion took place in London. 

The Prince of Brunei and his father, Brunei's Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, were among the guests at Hussein and Rajwa's royal wedding in 2023. At the time, Prince Abdul Mateen publicly congratulated his friend with a post on his personal Instagram. Alongside a photo of the newlyweds, the Prince of Brunei wrote: "A huge congratulations to my friend Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa. Wishing you both a lifetime of love and happiness 🤍." Prince Abdul Mateen married his wife last January.

While in the UK, Crown Prince Hussein caught up with another royal friend: Prince William. Queen Rania and King Abdullah II's 30-year-old son met with the Prince of Wales on Monday, Jan. 27. The Waleses' social media accounts shared a video of Prince William welcoming Hussein to Windsor Castle, while the Jordanian royal posted photos on his Instagram. "With my dear friend His Royal Highness, The Prince of Wales, at Windsor Castle today," Hussein wrote in the caption.

King Abdullah has previously spoken of his firstborn and Prince William's relationship.The King of Jordan told King Charles in 2021 (via The Jordan Times), “To see two young men, our sons, establish their relationship really warms my heart.”

The Prince and Princess of Wales were also guests at Hussein and Rajwa's wedding. Months later, the groom's mother, Queen Rania, who is is a member of Prince William's Earthshot Prize Council, told Fox News Digital, "It is always a pleasure to host the Prince and Princess of Wales in Jordan." 

Her Majesty added, "We are so thankful they were able to make the trip for Hussein’s wedding. The ties between Jordan and the U.K. are very strong, and our close friendship with the British royal family goes back generations."
