Princess Charlene stuns in bejeweled corset out in Monaco

The royal mom of two attended an awards ceremony

Princess Charlene of Monaco was bejeweled when she walked in the room—at the 2024 World Rugby Awards!

Prince Albert's wife attended the ceremony on Sunday, Nov. 24, solo. The Princess stunned at the event wearing a black floor-length Alexander McQueen gown that featured a plunging neckline. Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella's mom paired the design with a shimmering beaded corset top, said to also be by Alexander McQueen.

Fourteen awards—"recognizing on-field achievements of the calendar year and putting a spotlight on those who made an outstanding contribution to the sport"—were handed out during the ceremony held at the Salle des Étoiles in Monaco. Per World Rugby, this year’s event marked "the fourth occasion that Monaco has hosted the Awards, cementing the Principality's place as the home of rugby's greatest honours."

Princess Charlene, 46, was all smiles as she posed for photos on the red carpet and on stage during the ceremony. Prior to the event, World Rugby Chief Executive Alan Gilpin said: “We look forward to uniting our global family in Monaco for the fourth time under the High Patronage of H.S.H Princess Charlene of Monaco, and presenting a wider cast of winners with the ultimate accolades in rugby – the World Rugby Awards.”

Charlene has been the patron of AS Rugby Monaco since 2012. Earlier this month, it was announced that the former Olympic swimmer had been elected president of the Monégasque Rugby Federation. The federation said in a statement (translated to English): "A lifelong sports enthusiast, Princess Charlene is involved with younger generations and encourages the transmission of the values of sport that are dear to her, such as discipline, respect and inclusion."

The royal's own foundation, the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation, promotes sport and education programs, in addition to water safety. Her foundation aims to "promote the benefits of sporting activities; teach children and adults basic swimming, water safety, first-aid and drowning prevention skills, and foster national or international amateur sports competitions."
